Fida — a Website for a Brand Identity & Illustration Studio

Fida is a brand identity and illustration studio working under one line: Timeless Aesthetics For Visionary Brands. We built her the website — a black canvas with a single lavender accent, hand-coded rather than assembled from a template, carrying the portfolio, the service packages, an online shop and a contact form. It is live at fida-soul.com.

The Challenge

Building for a designer is a different kind of brief

When the client designs brands for a living, the website is not a brochure — it is evidence. Every spacing decision, every font, every transition is read as a sample of the studio's taste. Fida's own position is that a meaningful brand goes beyond aesthetics: it has a soul, a story and a purpose. The build had to hold all three without adding anything of its own.

  • Nothing off the shelf — a designer's site cannot run on a layout thousands of other businesses already use.
  • Six offerings, one clear path — identity, illustration, brand assets, social media design, packaging and brand concept development.
  • Portfolio and shop together — the work that proves the studio and the products it sells, on the same domain.

The live project

  • Fida — brand identity & illustration studio, Timeless Aesthetics For Visionary Brands.
  • Black canvas, one lavender accent — the palette does the pointing, the work does the talking.
  • Services: brand identity, illustration, brand assets, social media design, packaging design, brand concept development.
  • Home, About, Services, Portfolio, Shop, Contact — plus terms and privacy pages.
  • Hand-coded static HTML, CSS and JavaScript — no framework, no page builder.

The Build

Black, lavender, and nothing else asking for attention

The site sits on black with one lavender accent. That restraint is the point: identity work and illustration carry their own colour, and a busy interface would fight every project on the page. The accent marks the few things a visitor is meant to act on, and stays out of the way everywhere else.

The page moves the way she works — the studio's position, then Selected Work, then The Mind Behind The Work, then What I Create, then the four-step path From Vision to Identity, and finally an invitation to start a project.

How It Converts

From First Look to Start a Project

The page is arranged around one path, and each step earns the next.

Read the position

The opening states what the studio is for — timeless aesthetics for visionary brands — and follows it with her own reason why: a meaningful brand has a soul, a story and a purpose.

See the work

Selected Work comes early and does the arguing: Mozitti, Khadra and Lalla Tea, each labelled with what the job actually was — brand identity, packaging, brand assets, social media.

Meet the designer

Identity work is personal, so the site introduces the person before the price list. The Mind Behind The Work puts a name and a point of view next to the portfolio.

Pick a package, or write

The Services page lays out the Core and Exclusive packages plus the extended list, so a visitor can size the job themselves — and Start a Project is never more than a scroll away.

Why the site is hand-coded

There is no framework and no page builder behind fida-soul.com. Every page is static HTML with its own CSS and a small amount of JavaScript, which is why it loads the way it does. Typography is self-hosted and preloaded so the display faces are ready before the first paint instead of flashing in halfway through. Background imagery is loaded lazily, so a visitor on a phone pays for the section they are looking at rather than the whole page at once. A designer's site is judged in the first two seconds, and those two seconds are an engineering problem, not a styling one.

The portfolio does the selling

A studio's credibility is its work, so the projects are not hidden behind a tab. Selected Work sits high on the home page with Mozitti, Khadra and Lalla Tea, and each one is labelled with the actual scope — brand identity and packaging, brand identity with brand assets and social media, brand concept with identity and packaging. A visitor recognises their own project in one of those lines long before they reach a form.

A shop that lives inside her own brand

Alongside the portfolio the site carries a Shop, so the studio sells from its own domain instead of handing the visitor over to a marketplace and its branding. It sits in the same navigation as Home, About, Services, Portfolio and Contact, which keeps the whole business — the case for hiring her and the things she sells — behind a single address.

Why it matters: for an independent creative the website is the only part of the studio that works overnight. If it loads slowly, breaks on a phone or looks like a template, the taste it is supposed to be proving is the first thing called into question.

Built for the phone first

Most people meet an illustrator or a brand designer from a phone — usually one tap away from a social post. The site carries its own mobile layer rather than shrinking the desktop layout and hoping: the small-screen experience is designed as its own thing, so the type stays readable, the imagery stays sized for a mobile connection, and nothing important ends up off the edge of the screen.

Built by ROSH™ Company Labs

Fida's site is one of the websites we build end to end — the footer of her site carries our credit, and we are glad it does. If you are a designer, an illustrator, a photographer or any independent creative whose work has to be seen to be sold, we can build you the same kind of site: a design that stays out of the way of your work, a structure that makes your services obvious, and a shop if you sell as well as make. See our website design service, look at branding & identity if the name needs work too, or tell us about your project — you can also message us on WhatsApp.

FAQ

Questions our clients ask

What is Fida?

Fida is a brand identity and illustration studio run by a designer of the same name, working under the line "Timeless Aesthetics For Visionary Brands". Her services cover brand identity, illustration, brand assets, social media design, packaging design and brand concept development. ROSH™ Company Labs built her website, live at fida-soul.com.

Why does a designer need someone else to build their website?

Because designing a site and shipping one are two different jobs. A designer owns the look; the build is fonts that load without flashing, imagery that arrives lazily instead of all at once, a layout that survives every screen size, a working contact form and a shop that takes real orders. We handle that half so the designer's work reaches the visitor exactly as it was drawn.

Can ROSH™ Company Labs build a website for my design or illustration studio?

Yes. Fida's site is one example of the websites we build end to end for designers, illustrators, studios and independent creatives. Portfolio, service pages, packages, an online shop and a contact form — tell us what you make and we will build the site that sells it.

Can you add an online shop to a portfolio website?

Yes. Fida's site carries a Shop alongside the portfolio, so the studio can sell without sending people to a separate platform. We can add the same to any portfolio site — the shop lives inside your own brand rather than inside someone else's marketplace.

How much does a website like this cost?

It depends on scope — how many pages you need, how many languages, whether a shop or a booking flow is part of the job. We look at what your business actually needs, then give you a fixed quote up front before any work starts. No hidden fees and no surprise add-ons later.

Do you work with clients outside Morocco?

Yes. We work fully online, so where you are based makes no difference. We build for clients across Morocco and abroad, and the whole process — the brief, the design reviews, the revisions and the launch — runs remotely over WhatsApp, email and calls.
